The TREE OF LIGHTS is a collaborative project that celebrates the multitudes of lives lost to gun violence, and other family members that passed on. The lighting will be held on 9/7/19 as a part of the Office of Violence Prevention’s film premiere for director Derek “Maj” Thompson’s “Talk It Out Philly”.

The tree of lights is a place of healing for a whole community...it serves as a reminder of all the loved ones we have known and lost thru natural and unnatural means.

Tree of Lights Project

The tree of lights will hold lightbulbs that represents a light that has been dimmed through the loss of a loved one, yet still shines thru we who live on. Now loved ones’ lights still shine over our village, in a place to gather and celebrate the love that never dies but lives on.
